María Hesse, born in 1982 in Huelva, is one of the most famous illustrators in Spain. Her art works are regularly exhibited and have appeared in magazines such as "Jot Down" and "Glamour". In addition, María Hesse illustrated classics such as Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice". Her first illustrated book "Frida Kahlo - a biography" was very successful and translated into thirteen languages.
The exhibition as part of the Literaturpflaster features works from her two most recent books „Bowie – ein illustriertes Leben“ and „Lust“.
