Your family and friends no longer recognise you without a book in front of your face? You never leave home without a book and prefer to sit in front of the bookshelf rather than the TV? Would you like to exchange ideas with others who feel the same way? Then join our book club "Lesesüchtig"!
As part of the Bad Berleburger Literaturpflaster the VHS Siegen-Wittgenstein is offering a face-to-face book club (depending on the status of the Corona Regulation, possibly digitally via the VHS Cloud). We have chosen "Greenwood" by the award-winning Canadian author Michael Christie. An exciting and grandiose family saga that spans 4 generations and all have one thing in common: the forest. The novel is longlisted for the Scotiabank Giller Prize and has been finalist for the BC Book Awards and The Evergreen Awards.
Be invited to talk about this book with like-minded people. Take your ease in the newly furnished and modernized city library. Snacks and beverages will be offered (beverages are not included in the admission price).
