This year´s Literaturpflaster will be initiated by the band KAPOK, a young, extraordinary Dutch jazz trio. The band combines elements of different genres and traditions. Their latest album GLASS TO SAND is a continuation of their successful start, delighting the audience and the press.
As "the most popular band" KAPOK won the famous Dutch Jazz Competition. Apart from that the band was winner of the European Jazz Competition in 2013. Their second album KAPOK was awarded the Edison (the Dutch equivalent to the Grammy).
