Director:
Philippe de Chauveron
For the policeman José Fernandez there is good and bad news: He is finally promoted to a special unit and can now leave behind the unfortunate everyday life of a border policeman. The bad news: He has to go to Kabul one last time to deport the delinquent Karzaoui to his home country. Now it means to get rid of the refugee without complications, otherwise the promotion becomes difficult. But there is one problem: The judiciary made a mistake in his case and thus he is disgruntled accordingly. José imagined his last refugee to be more resigned. Far from it! When the plane has to land on a holiday island the unruly Karzaoui seizes the moment and retreats with a wrong identity and a radiator. José and his hard-drinking colleague called Guy chase in the name of their motions of order and soon they have to realize how fast a protective identity can get busted.
In the new comedy from the director of "Serial (Bad) Weddings" Ary Abittan and Medi Sadoun reappear on the screen, along with two of the wonderful sons-in-law of "Monsieur Claude". Philippe de Chauveron succeeds again at producing a warm and provocative comedic spectacle from France. Ary Abittan and Medi Sadoun act with great enthusiasm as glorious contemporaries on their involuntarily common journey through social minefields which sometimes even ends with friendship.
