Introduction: Uwe Haßler, nature photographer
The nature photographer Hartmut Schneider is fascinated by the unique landscape of Norway even after many years. There is so much more to discover besides the spectacular fjords, waterfalls, glaciers and mountain ridges. Hartmut Schneider was inspired to get to know Norway in all seasons. He loves to capture with his camera natural spectacles like the changing landscape in winter, the play of colours in autumn or the blossoming in spring.
The animal world in Norway also plays an important role: The photographer is fascinated by musk oxen in Dovrefjell National Park and the puffins on the island Runde. Hartmut Schneider was not only impressed by the beautiful nature of Norway, but also by the hospitality and friendliness of the Norwegian inhabitants. The journeys through the country are characterized by picturesque villages, the impressive medieval architecture of stave churches and colourful towns.
Hartmut Schneider's photographs invite you to travel to experience the magic of the North for yourself.
