Reading by Anna Kordsaia-Samadaschwili
Moderation: Prof. Dr. Ralf Schnell, patron of the Literaturpflaster
The author Anna Kordsaia-Samadaschwili, whose works have been awarded several literary prizes in Georgia, is meanwhile very popular with the German readership.
The police investigators are clueless. As well as the reader they are fooled by the suspects, the friends of the murdered woman. The friends know who killed her, but they keep their mouths shut. The reason for that becomes clear as this colorful, unconventional, uncommon group of people tells numerous stories about the dead woman and about themselves.
This is in fact a very sophisticated novel with a condensed plot. Crime as the main theme of this novel builds the basis to reveal an exciting panorama of uncommon life stories and characters, a plea for the free choice of different life scripts and for tolerance and solidarity.
The evening will be moderated by the literary scholar and patron of the Literaturpflaster Prof. Dr. Ralf Schnell.
