A theme dinner in the restaurant Hotel "Alte Schule" is always something special. But this year the guests will be spoilt in a very extraordinary way. The Georgian star chef Luka Nachkebia will travel to the Frankfurt Book Fair and he will even come to Bad Berleburg for this evening. The visitors will get to know the country-specific spices and dishes and they will enjoy the fantastic combinations of meat, vegetables and pasta.

We promise you an evening full of surprises for the palate and the eye, a nice blend of open kitchen and buffet with exciting stories behind the dishes.

Luka Nachkebia

Luka Nachkebia (27), Agricultural University of Georgia graduate, as well as Culinary academy graduate, specialized in food service and food safety. His main body of work is represented by numerous consulting projects including restaurant development, food service and food production development, ranging from project management for food service like Borjomi Golden Tulip “Firouze” Hotel, ”Zala” restaurant, “Batoni” restaurant, “9Mta” beer gastro bar, “Bioli” wellness resort, to HACCP, GMP and GHP implementation in several food productions. He has been reading lectures on topics of food safety and production technology at Agricultural University of Georgia since 2016, along with teaching fundamentals of Pacific and Asian cuisine at Georgian Culinary Academy. Luka has worked on several culinary books, in form of researcher on “Bagrat Batonishvili cook book 1818”, as researcher/chef at “Georgian Taste” - cookbook as well as a producer/researcher/chef on “Meskhetian Table” cookbook. Along with these, he participates in scientific research projects, investigating topics of microbiomes in agronomy, food microbiology and human nutrition.
